Parliament has unanimously passed the Vigilantism and Related Offences Bill, 2019, into law after its Third Reading on the floor of the House.

The motion on the Third Reading of the Vigilantism and Related Offences Bill, 2019, was moved by the Minister for Communication, Mrs. Ursula Owusu Ekuful on behalf of the Minister for Justice and Attorney-General, Ms. Gloria Akuffo.
The objective of the Vigilantism Bill and Related Offences Bill, 2019 is to disband political party vigilante groups and proscribe acts of vigilantism in the country.
