Following the multiple attacks on Parliament by the Assin Central MP, Kennedy Agyapong, Member of Parliament for Tamale Central, Inusah Fuseini has indicated that the conduct of Kennedy Agyapong in the media space calls for a lot of concern.
In an interview with ghanajustice.com, the MP for Tamale Central stated that it would be proper for Mr. Agyapong to appear before the Privileges Committee and explain himself rather than moving from one media house to the other and pouring out insults on some members of Parliament.

He further stated that the decent way for Mr. Agyapong to express himself is to appear before the committee and tell his side of the story to exonerate himself or otherwise.
The Tamale Central MP again indicated that the Privileges Committee has capable minds to produce results that will satisfy Parliament without any unfair treatment.
In his concluding statement, Mr. Fuseini stated that Parliament cannot pass a verdict on matters such as the present one without going through the appropriate processes.
Background of Issue
Earlier this month, the vociferous Assin Central MP chided the Majority Leader, Osei Kyei Mensah Bonsu as a cheap leader in the house of Parliament.
Mr. Agyapong’s angry reactions came after the Majority Leader criticised him for issuing multiple threats to the ace investigative journalist, Anas Aremeyaw Anas.
The Assin Central MP has strongly been against the methodology of Anas, describing it as entrapment. He further alleged that the investigative journalist has been engaging in corrupt practices in the course of his investigative work.
His constant accusations and threats against Anas prompted Osei Kyei Mensah-Bonsu to speak to the matter, pointing out that “Kennedy Agyapong is not an angel”. Mr. Anas has since commenced an action in defamation against Mr. Agyepong.
