Parliament has summoned nine Ministers of State to respond to questions on their respective Ministries.
They are the Ministers for Health, Interior, Sanitation and Water Resources; Gender, Children and Social Protection and Education. The rest are the Ministers for Food and Agriculture, Communications, Energy and Roads and Highways.
They are expected to appear before the House to respond to 32 questions during the week.
The Member of Parliament for Tamale North, Mr. Suhuyini Alhassan Sayibu will on Tuesday, November 21, 2017 ask the Minister for Health what created the recent shortage in the country of vaccines for children under five years old. He will also ask him what measures are in place to restore supply and to prevent a recurrence of the shortage.
On Wednesday, the 22nd of November, 2017, the Member of Parliament for Bole/Bamboi, Mr. Yusif Sulemana will ask the Minister for Gender, Children and Social Protection what measures the Ministry is putting in place to sustain the School Feeding Programme.
