An 11-year old suspect (name withheld) who was arraigned before an Accra Circuit Court, including 25 Togolese who allegedly held a demonstration without police permit, has been granted bail in the sum of GH¢10,000.00 with one surety who should be gainfully employed.
In the previous hearing, the presiding judge ordered that a test be ran at the Police Hospital on the alleged minor to ascertain his age.
The Prosecutor told the court that the report from the said hospital was not ready.
Bail was granted after counsel for the Accused person prayed the court to grant his client bail since delay in producing the hospital report will curtail the right of his client.
