ALLEGED FRAUDSTER GRANTED GHC900,000.00 BAIL

Mr. Arnold Asante who has been accused of defrauding Mr. Kofi Adams, NDC National Organiser, has been granted bail in the sum of GHC900,000.00.

The Accused is to further provide six sureties who are gainfully employed, report every two weeks to the Commercial Crime Unit of the Ghana Police Service and submit his passport and all travel documents to the Police.

The case has been adjourned to 18^th October, 2017.

Mr. Arnold Asante was arraigned before court for allegedly defrauding the Complainant, Mr. Adams of over GHC840,000 under the pretext of using the amount to pre-finance a tires supply contract secured from Goldfields Mining Ghana at Tarkwa.
